Walking Structures' Is a mechanical structure inspired by Loie Fuller's serpentine dance show (1895).

The structure is built out of 150 piano wires pieces, 180 silicon connections, Acrylic plates and 2 Servo motors.

Using the ability of the material to bend, change, and adapt, we designed the structure to transform, walk and react to peoples presence by using a set of parameters coded to its motors.

The structure is powered by a small battery and ables to walk in different speeds, and directions, reacting to a distance sensor that indicates the duration of the Servo motors rotation depending of human distance to it.
